Baby J First Photos

Here it is! The first pictures of our little zygote! He or she is growing rapidly and making me sick as a result. It's hard work growing a human being! We had a doctor's appointment yesterday and the baby is doing great! The heartbeat was beautiful to hear and watching it on the screen was so precious! The only bad thing (if that) was that we're not as far along as they once thought. We're only 7 weeks now and we thought we were closer to 9. Oh well! Our new due date is November 22 (JFK assassination day). This may put me slightly out of commission for Thanksgiving Day festivities and if you know how I like to eat, you understand my disappointment. Palmetto Richland Hospital needs to bring their A-game!

I completly understand your dissapointment! If I do nothing else, it will be to make sure you get some good Tday food!

Trust me, you will still be in the mood to eat. You work up an appetite delivering a child! We will make sure you have a feast, even if we have to bring it to the hospital.

Oh yes, if the baby is born around Thanksgiving, that is a great thing. I have never been hungrier right after my kids are born, and the thought of having a Thanksgiving feast is a fabulous thought! Hope you feel better...I highly recommend Zofran. It seriously is a wonder drug!

Maybe you'll deliver on the 26th, Jon's b-day! Actually, that would make you over due and I don't wish that on anyone!!! I was SO pregnant last Thanksgiving, I could hardly eat he was taking up so much room... I'm glad you're doing well and being sick is a good thing, I just hope it passes soon!
