Go Bayside!
Ok, so I woke up in the middle of the night around 4am having had a weird dream, which is perfectly normal for me. Just ask Doug, I have some doozies! So last night, the dream had me at The MAX. Remember the hangout from Saved by the Bell? So they were having a pep rally for their big game coming up against their arch rivals! However, everytime they shouted the other team's name, it was beeped out in my head. So I never heard it! And now, I absolutely can't remember who their rivals where...Can someone help me?

Keeping Up with the DeVoes, Dinkins, Callaways, and most of FA09!

Ok, so Doug and I drank the water. What water? The water that Melissa drank last year and the water 9 couples in our Sunday School class have had over the last year. Apparently, Kristina drank a bottle or so of it as well. And did I mention that Lindsay (doug's youngest sister) took a swig of it in January! Well, just like the sale rack in the petites section at Ann Taylor, the water called to us. We are pregnant and expecting our first child in November! We will keep you updated! The moral of the story (and one we plan to teach our child): Don't share cups.

Little Things on Good Friday!

So, it's barely 10am but it's shaping up to be a Good Friday indeed. Got to sleep in a little this morning since Doug didn't have to work. Found a suit in the closet that didn't need to be ironed. No traffic on the way to work because school is out today so I was able to stop and get myself some breakfast. The Circle K was having a special on Chocolate Milk - 2 for $2! So I had one chocolate milk for each chocolate chip granola bar I had stuffed into my suit pocket before leaving the house. All's quiet in the office this morning as many are off today and as a result no one is seeing me hopped up on chocolate (both milks and granola bars are gone). Doug's coming to have lunch with me. Amber's written a funny blog post (www.dancetotherhythm.blogspot.com). LOST party is tonight. Curtis and Kristina are coming to town tomorrow. Easter fun on Sunday. And to top it all off, I am reminded once again of God's huge sacrifice for this world. Celebrate the little things this weekend that would not be possible without the big gift from God.

Blarney Stones, Potatoes, and All Things Irish
There once was a group who went running,
Their mile time is simply stunning
Their mile time is simply stunning
They ran a 5K
On St. Patrick's Day
And now, for the Bridge Run, they're gunning!
So that's my janky attempt at a limerick in honor of St. Patrick's Day and our recent run. Doug and I ran in a 5K in 5 Points this past Saturday. His dad also joined us and some friends as well. It was our second 5K this March. (brag brag) We both felt like we had good times but our results are off a bit due to a jumbled starting line. We were still walking about a minute and a half into the course. (excuses, excuses) The girls and I had fun matching green socks but they paled in comparison to the man in green underwear and a cape! The usual post race food was very festive green gatorade and green bagels! We're gearing up for the Bridge Run in Charleston on April 5. My running partners (Shelley, Jessica, and Ashley) are attempting our first 5 miler today at Riverfront Park. Wish us luck!

Keeping Up with the Bloggers!

Hello to all! This blog has been a long time coming...I have stalked many a friend and relative through their own blogs and wondered, "Aren't I just as interesting?" Of course, I am more interesting than many of the blogs out there, but I can not hope to keep up with many of you! Your lives, your adventures, your pictures! If any of you want to live vicariously through one of the blogs I frequent, I have posted links on the side. I have to highly recommend my cousin Joel who is an exquisite writer and lives a life you may one day see in a movie!
The main purpose of the blog is a way for me to share information about my family with the rest of you. My hope is that you'll all see how funny I am and how cute my dog is...Anything else you may gain is just icing on the cake! I can not promise how often I will update this blog, so don't harass me...Just go ahead and bookmark this page - you know you want to!
