Intrigued? Well, it's been a while since I posted, so I need to get you all caught up on our adventures of the last few weeks.
First - I did my first 10K in Charleston on April 5. It was the Cooper River Bridge Run and it was awesome. The bridge was the majority of the race and tuckered me out, but the last mile I had some energy kick in! Shelley, Jessica, and I finished in just over 1 hour which was just a hair behind the Kenyans who completed the race in 28:51. The guys all finished ahead of us, but they have longer legs. We got a guided tour of Charleston from Barret after the race. Here's a few pics of the weekend.

Next, we went to Raleigh last weekend for our nephew's Baptism. He will be 6 months old tomorrow and we had so much fun getting to see him! Melissa and Denny were great hosts!
Doug and Me with Dylan at his Baptism -- It was such a beautiful church!
I am hoping cuteness like this runs in the Jones family!
So, yesterday was Doug's 30th Birthday! We started celebrating last weekend in Raleigh and tried to shower him with gifts and well wishes all week! He got some good clothes, gift cards, and a new receiver for the sound system upstairs. For those of who are wondering, he settled on the Yamaha over the Onkyo...It was quite a decision. That means we have a complete Onkyo system on the market folks! Get it while it's hot! Doug got tons of emails from friends and family and really seemed to enjoy his day. Curtis even gave him a tribute on his blog (link to the right). He bowled extremely well...had a 214 and a 209! The day was really nice until...We got home late last night after going to his parent's house for cake and ice cream after bowling. Our dog Jack had been inside all day with no attention. We have often known Jack to have an aggressive nature at times, but never thought he would act on it in such a harsh manner. We entered our house through the garage and found this:
He murdered his bear! The bear has been at times his best friend and at times his lover, but now the bear is no more! We restuffed the bear but I found him destroyed again this morning. The bear must've disrespected Jack in some way...I am glad to know Jack doesn't take crap from anyone! Here's a picture of Jack at a more subdued time!

Well it's about time...I've been looking at your blog everyday...you've turned me into the blog stalker!
Three things here:
1) Love that you brought Wilson out with the Miley Cyrus song--he does deserve that if he's listening to a 15 year old girl!
2) Dylan is sooooo cute! I'm glad ya'll were able to make the baptism!
3) What in the world did that bear do to Jack? They must have had a fight about something yesterday!
Have Jack and Allie Wiggles been talking? That mess looks very familiar!
To Doug:
You don't look a day over 29 man! See if you can download you some Miley Cyrus and keep it real.
