What a Difference a Year Makes

Christmas 2009 - Katie, Caleb, Maddie picture at the big tree at church. All 3 families arrive early to have time to take pictures. Most pictures are taken on the couch where all 3 children sit and smile. Then, we venture to the tree and try to prop all the kids up on the big present. Passers by oooh and aaah at the 3 little children and how cute they are. Biggest challenge - getting all three to hold themselves up at the same time.

Christmas 2010 - No one gets to church early enough to have time to go over to the big tree so pictures are taken at the tall, skinny tree in the children's hall. We try to get all three kids over by the tree and looking at us at the same time. Passers by laugh and giggle at the mom completely laid out on the floor to try to snap a good picture while the kids run in 3 opposite directions. Biggest challenge - finding that Windows software that will let me mesh the best of each child into one picture!

(N.B. Katie is in the same dress both years! I love how some girl clothes can totally extend their shelf-life!)

That's hilarious-one year passes and they are completely all over the place! You did a nice job all laid out on the floor trying to get some good ones!

That's really funny!! I love Katie's dress, it's amazing that it will still fit her! p.s. you need photoshop to merge pictures! :-)

Great post and SOO true! I love the fact that last year we all had time to make it to church early to snap the photos!
