Pumpkin Patch

The Pumpkin Patch at Northeast United Methodist Church is where Katie took her REAL first steps last year. She had taken a few wobbly ones here and there, but under the awning at the pumpkin patch, she just took off! And we actually got it on tape too! So this place holds a very special place in my heart. It was fun thinking back to last year and her wobbling around the place and now this year going crazy running all over.

This picture makes me want to make time stand still. Seeing my almost 2 year old next to the "Wee Be Little" sign - breaks my heart thinking how time has flown by and makes me glad to soak up all that we can!

We went to the patch with Grandma Jones, Nana Baggerly and daddy! The weather was perfect for being outdoors. The pumpkins were so varied - some white, some lumpy, some short, some fat. Katie loves to talk about big and little things so after the Wee Be Littles, she tried her hand at this BIIIIG pumpkin but didn't have much luck!

This pumpkin patch has more than just pumpkins! They have several photo opp spots set up, wagons to pull your pumpkins, and a playground once you've been pumpkin-ed out! Katie enjoyed playing peekaboo behind this scarecrow with Nana Baggerly!

After failing to snag the big pumpkin and running around the playground for a while, we settled on finding some little pumpkins to share with our friends and even got some stickers to make silly faces on the pumpkins.

I love to see then and now pictures. It is hard to believe the difference in our kids in just one year!
