2. This is still one of Katie's favorite places to be outside - looking into the house from the front porch. I don't get it - she kicks and screams to go outside and then stares inside half the time.
3. I feel like I have a kick me sign on my back from blogger today. I have commented on two people's blogs and both of them are blogs that make you enter a code to post the comment. The first code was "medumb" and the second one was "imafat." I resent the fact that blogger has chosen to insult me and doesn't even use correct grammar.
4. Katie fell down the stairs inside our house last Tuesday. It was super scary and it wasn't because she was trying to get down by herself. She lost her footing and just tumbled all the way down to the landing. She didn't appear to be hurt - but she was terrified.
5. Katie's eyes seem to be really sensitive to the sun. She winces when we're in the car and the sun hits her eyes. We are working on getting used to wearing hats regularly to shield her eyes. My dad has taken this on as his personal mission. Although, wearing the hat this way probably won't help.
6. I think I have a cavity in one of my molars. I've never had one before so I don't know what it feels like. If indeed I do have one, I'm going to need to change my resume!
7. Is there a such thing as a bona fide NO SPILL sippy cup? I would pay good money for one if there was one. I get tired of sticky floors or wiping up milk and juice all day when the sippy cup gets tossed.
8. Killer deal on diapers at CVS - Jumbo pack for $8.99 with $1 back - coupled with a $3 off CVS coupon and a $1.50 off manufacturer's coupon! We're talking $3.50 for a pack of diapers. That's where I am going at lunch!
9. My brother got a shout out from the announcers at his ballpark last night for the exceptional entertainment he provides at the Dr. Pepper Ballpark for the Frisco Rough Riders AA Baseball Team in Frisco, Texas. I'm giving him a shout out here - Gabriel, you rock and you really do provide an entire game experience for all the families who come to the ballpark! You work so hard and it shows. BUT - don't spend the night at the ballpark anymore. GO HOME - get rest and see your wife so you can keep putting on great entertainment there!
10. I got a wild hair and tried to straighten Katie's hair this morning. I put my flat iron on really low and sat her on the counter and began primping. I felt like I was in a scene from Toddler and Tiaras and quickly regretted this decision. It looked really weird on her. So I spritzed her down with water to bring the curls back. What was I thinking? These curls have got to be the cutest thing I have ever seen!

I agree, I would pay big bucks for a no spill sippy. I love Katie's curls...Katie, don't let your mommy do that again! She's so cute!
Oh pleast tell me if you find that no spill cup! I would pay a lot of money for it. I've got to go mop floors now :( Love that Katie wants to go outside and then stares inside. Too cute!
Those blogger codes had me laughing so much today...that is too funny! I agree about the sippy cups--the new Playtex ones I bought were OK at first but now they're worse than the others.
Thinking about you for your appt. today. Let me know how it goes.
There's no such thing as a spill-proof or baby-proof anything. I am constantly cleaning spots out of our carpet. And NONE of our babyproofing stuff works for Dylan. Twice this past week he's pulled razors out from under Denny's sink that has a babyproofing latch on it. Like I need more things to add to my stress level!!!!!
