Early Easter with the Joneses!

Lindsay hosted an early Easter dinner and egg hunt the week before Easter. The DeVoes came into town for their first road trip as a family of four. We had a great weekend all hanging out together. Sunday's weather was initially supposed to be cold and rainy, but it turned out to be a beautiful day in the high 60s which was perfect for the egg hunt. Katie did great spotting the eggs - but rarely stopped to pick them up.

 

We all took turns doing family photos and this is the best shot of the three of us.

 

Eric and Mari's niece (Mari's sister's daughther) Isabel came along for all the fun for the day. Eric was spinning her around and I got several shots in the spin cycle - one where Isabel had her free hand on her mouth and I thought she was going to throw up. But when he finally stopped - this was their faces...I don't think I have ever seen another picture that displays pure enjoyment like this!

 

As usual, we made several attempts at getting all the kids to take a picture together. We tried with different props, different settings, different sounds - but nothing seemed to hold them all still long enough for the perfect picture. This one came pretty close though!
