I've Got the "Itis"

Shortly after my flight home from Texas, I began to feel a scratchy throat. Last Wednesday morning, I woke up feeling awful. My scratchy throat morphed into a major cold over the weekend. I have been coughing up a storm and my throat and back and neck completely ached. I skipped church on Sunday and called in sick to work on Monday.

I went into work today and was diagnosed by my pediatrician (my boss) with two illnesses! I have bronchitis and conjunctivitis which translates to a crummy cough and pink eye. This further translates for a pregnant lady to Robitussin and eye drops, neither of which are supposed to cure me, but are supposed to mask the symptoms for 3-4 hours at a time.

I am miserable and I blame this on Texas. (or atleast Delta airlines)

To make it worse, I am home alone and have no one to whine and complain to - so I have brought my complaints to the blog world!

Here's a picture of one of my eyes...Again, I took this myself since my photographer/husband is out of town. I know I need to have my eyebrows waxed, but I am guessing they won't do it whilst having pink eye. And I can't really wear eye makeup b/c of all the irritation, so it's ok if you don't recognize me if you see me this week.
