Halloween!

Did I mention how much fun I am having on maternity leave? It's so incredible to be home with Katie during some of the activities that I usually miss out on by being at work! She got to dress in her costume for school and go trick or treating around the different classrooms! I took her in to school so I could get a picture of her with Cole and her friend, Delaney. Cole dressed up as Luigi and Delaney was a butterfly. Katie is an animal doctor (vet). She's NOT Doc McStuffins. She is quick to tell us that Doc McStuffins takes care of pretend animals and toys while she takes care of real animals.

Um, have you ever seen a cuter pumpkin than this little guy? Oh, how he melts my heart. He's starting to smile more and more these days and I can't help but smile right back. He's so contagious!

We went to my cousin's house for their annual Halloween bash. There was TONS of food and all the kids from the neighborhood looked so good! The costumes were great! Katie did a little trick or treating, but it was just her with Doug and me so she wasn't totally into it. I don't blame her - she was cold and didn't have any kids her age to run door to door with.

We still made out with plenty of candy between church and school and a few other Halloween parties. We should all be scheduling a trip to the dentist soon!
