Pigs and Weather

First and absolutely foremost, what do Doug's sister's have against pigs? Or is it that they really love pigs? For the last two years, our Sunday School class has planned a pig pickin' that is supposed to be a really fun get together filled with good food and friends. But, his sisters insist on having babies instead! That's right, we just got the call a few minutes before 7am that Lindsay and Marshall are headed to the hospital to have Cole Marshall Dinkins! So, we're up and headed there too, but will inevitably miss the pig pickin'. FA09, please make me a leftovers plate! We will keep you updated about the impending arrival of our newest nephew!

Secondly, we were at Home Depot last night with Doug's mom picking out some paint for what's going to be our changing table. The weather was somewhat rainy but definitely windy! We were getting in my car to leave and I saw this shopping carty that had been put away in one of the return bays. The shopping cart did this crazy spin thing and started rolling on it's own! It rolled itself out of the bay and began to roll across the parking lot. It was headed straight for a Camry. Doug was shouting, "NO, not a car! Don't hit a car!" (he does really have a heart for all cars, even Sedans) The cart narrowly misses the Camry and continues rolling through two open spaces and the low and behold, it rolls itself right into another BAY! Are you kidding me? No, you can't make this stuff up. Where was Tom Bergeron? We could've won $10,000 from America's Funniest Home Videos based on our laughs and shouts, let alone the actual path of the shopping cart!

Ok - I'm off to finish getting ready to head up to the hospital to meet Baby Cole!
