This post about the Mud Run is exciting and depressing at the same time. I'm excited about participating, yet depressed that I am not working hard enough to prepare for the event. I haven't run since Thursday. I can't run before work because I keep sleeping in to try and grab and extra 30 minutes in the sack. It has rained the past 2 days. I have had committments after work all week. And the days are getting shorter so that it's dark after dinner and I use that as an excuse to skip running.
Basically, Doug and company are going to have to carry my fat butt for 4.2 miles.
