So, it's barely 10am but it's shaping up to be a Good Friday indeed. Got to sleep in a little this morning since Doug didn't have to work. Found a suit in the closet that didn't need to be ironed. No traffic on the way to work because school is out today so I was able to stop and get myself some breakfast. The Circle K was having a special on Chocolate Milk - 2 for $2! So I had one chocolate milk for each chocolate chip granola bar I had stuffed into my suit pocket before leaving the house. All's quiet in the office this morning as many are off today and as a result no one is seeing me hopped up on chocolate (both milks and granola bars are gone). Doug's coming to have lunch with me. Amber's written a funny blog post (www.dancetotherhythm.blogspot.com). LOST party is tonight. Curtis and Kristina are coming to town tomorrow. Easter fun on Sunday. And to top it all off, I am reminded once again of God's huge sacrifice for this world. Celebrate the little things this weekend that would not be possible without the big gift from God.

...and five years ago on Good Friday (but in April) Doug Jones came to eat lunch with his MOM. She worked on my floor and I heard chatter outside of my office. Many admiring women surrounded Doug as he squirmed, and then Susan Jones said :"Ladies, he is available!" and sealed her son's fate!
I am so grateful for Good Friday for so many reasons!
Had the day off today and didn't do too much of anything. Had a new windshield put in my truck and am in the market for tries for both the truck and the car. Looking forward to a wonderful Easter weekend and I don't have any homework for class on Monday. We plan to resume our discussion on "Fences." If anyone happens to know if the play is on VHS or DVD I would love to be able to see it. It is a great story. Bye for now. I come back when I can't stay so long.
Glad you had a good day. The chocolate milk sounds yummy!
